To mark my return, here’s an odd sign.

It seems I was gone longer than I had anticipated.  I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice it to say I no longer have the ability to process my own film.  Life is full of little disappointments like that.  Like I always say; whatever does not kill me royally pisses me off…

I am happy to say that I have a new digital camera.  It’s a simple point and shoot Panasonic DMC-SZ3 that I have found most useful despite having a near complete lack of exposure control. (I’m thinking about eBegging for a nice DSLR :) )

But it is the artist, not the brush.

The most difficult thing about the camera is getting used to looking at a screen instead of a view finder.  I do like that it has a B&W setting, but without exposure control, it isn’t much help.  In all, tho, I think it’s a good camera and kind of reminds me of my old Kodak Instamatic I had when I was 12… With a really long roll of film!
